Who We Are

JSERV (Joint Services for Enterprise Research and Validation) is a Prince George’s County, Maryland–based organization building programs and services focused on AI automation planning, compliance-ready grants/contracts operations support, and workforce re-entry program operations. Our long-term aim is to strengthen communities and organizations across the DMV through responsible AI adoption, climate resilience support, and housing affordability initiatives.

Our Purpose

JSERV is developing practical tools, workflows, and partnerships that help organizations plan responsibly, improve program operations, and measure outcomes—so community initiatives can launch, scale, and sustain impact.

JSERV is building community-centered programs that support workforce re-entry, responsible AI readiness, and the operational systems needed to advance climate resilience and housing affordability initiatives across the DMV.

1) Our commitment

JSERV (Joint Services for Enterprise Research & Validation) is committed to respecting and supporting internationally recognized human rights in our operations and through our work with employees, contractors, partners, and suppliers. We aim to align our practices with the Universal Declaration of Human Rights, the UN Guiding Principles on Business and Human Rights (UNGPs), and the International Labour Organization (ILO) core labor standards.

2) Scope

This policy applies to:

  • All JSERV employees, contractors, and representatives

  • Any subcontractors, vendors, and partners performing work on JSERV’s behalf

  • All workplaces and work-related activities, including remote work and field activities

3) Non-discrimination and equal opportunity

JSERV provides a workplace free from discrimination, harassment, and retaliation. We respect the dignity of every individual and are committed to fair treatment and equal opportunity in recruiting, hiring, compensation, training, advancement, and termination.

4) Forced labor, child labor, and human trafficking

JSERV has zero tolerance for:

  • Forced, bonded, or involuntary labor

  • Human trafficking

  • Child labor or exploitation
    We will not knowingly work with partners or suppliers that participate in these practices.

5) Freedom of association

JSERV respects workers’ rights to lawful freedom of association, collective bargaining, and peaceful assembly, consistent with applicable laws.

6) Safe, healthy, and respectful workplace

We are committed to maintaining a safe and healthy work environment. JSERV expects professional conduct and prohibits intimidation, harassment, bullying, and violence. We support reasonable working hours, rest, and safe working conditions.

7) Fair wages and working conditions

JSERV is committed to fair compensation practices and compliance with applicable wage and hour laws. We do not tolerate wage theft or unlawful deductions.

8) Privacy, data protection, and responsible technology

Because JSERV develops and deploys automation and AI-enabled solutions, we take added care to respect human rights related to privacy, fairness, and non-discrimination. We aim to:

  • Handle personal and sensitive data responsibly and lawfully

  • Use appropriate security measures

  • Consider and reduce risks of bias, discrimination, or harmful impacts when deploying technology

9) Supplier and partner expectations

JSERV expects suppliers, subcontractors, and partners to uphold standards consistent with this policy. We may request corrective actions if we identify risks or violations, and we reserve the right to end relationships where serious violations are confirmed and not remediated.

10) Reporting concerns and grievance mechanism (no retaliation)

Anyone may report suspected human rights concerns related to JSERV operations or JSERV-supported work. JSERV prohibits retaliation against anyone who raises a concern in good faith.

JSERV will review reports promptly, keep information as confidential as possible, and take appropriate corrective action when needed.

11) Accountability and review

JSERV leadership is responsible for implementing this policy, ensuring awareness, and supporting compliance. We will review this policy periodically and update it as our operations and partnerships evolve.
